  Tell Zira'a is an archaeological mound dated as early as the Early Bronze Age and as late as the Ottoman Period. There is an information sign at the start of the path to the top from the south side. The top affords three areas to explore including a Roman villa and Bronze Age fortifications. The views over Wadi al-'Arab Dam are stunning and add to the place timeless beauty. The site is a good spot for a picnic. However, the site is not developed for tourism and as such there are no facilities there. One should be mindful not to disturb anything, to keep out of the excavated areas (some are quite deep!) and not to litter the place. Therefore, garbage should be collected and brought home.
