  One of two Byzantine churches built on the so called church terrace. It was built in the first half of the sixth century as a square building with a distinctive octagonal nave in its interior. The church has four semi-circular apses on its corners. There is a stone-lined tomb within the square altar area inside the octagon (see review image). There are indications that the church was a focus for pilgrimage and that its tomb contained a venerated martyr.
