::This is the location of the only synagogue discovered in Jerash. It once had mosaics depicting the story of Noah and the flood. The building was converted into a church during the Byzantine period. The ruins you see today belong to the church. Being on a rise you get a nice panoramic view of Jerash towards the South and East.
