  Just outside of the city walls past the suspected northwest city gate lies a Roman mausoleum that belonged to a wealthy family. The monument lies outside the Jerash archaeological park. Therefore, you can wander freely. The site is spoiled by a refuse dump almost on top of it, and it is endangered by encroaching residential building activity.
