::The Ottoman House is a late 19th early 20th century structure built by the Ottoman authorities to monitor the settlement of Circassian immigrants on the eastern side of Jerash. Around the house you will find a good number of stone coffins, inscriptions in Latin and Greek and mosaic portions from nearby Byzantine churches.
