  Tucked inside and under the town wall lies a 3rd century AD Roman olive press. It includes the crushing stone, stone base and pressing areas. The wall is a later 4th century addition which basically buried the press installations. While the mill was in operation, a donkey would turn the 1.5 ton crushing millstone around. Visitor's can walk down the steps into this very atmospheric little room within the wall. Kids will love the feel of 'discovery'. From here, you can proceed towards the Oval Plaza via the South Street.
