::This is the third Roman theatre in Jerash and built for the aquatic festival that this ancient Decapolis city used to celebrate in the area known today as Birkatayn. You are away from the tourist crowds as you explore at leisure this historical site. Beware the place is not set up for tourism and as such there are no facilities here. Entrance, if not locked, is free. One should be mindful not to disturb anything, to keep out of the excavated areas and not to litter the place. Therefore, one's garbage should be collected and discarded appropriately.
