::I usually hop over to another restaurant located in Swaifyeh for my foul, hummus and falafel fix, but decided to come here on recommendation of my brother. I found this place to be clean, they serve a high quality, great tasting food, the service is fast and great, is good enough to make this my go to destination for take out breakfast. Add to it the fact that this is within walking distance from the house, and I can then burn off the calories of my breakfast before I even eat it, makes coming here a no brainer. The location is a bit off the beaten path, and accordingly unless you know exact location, you might miss it driving by... But be on the look out for either hungry looking faces (and follow them to) or happy content faces (and ask them where they are coming from). Sahtain w'3afyeh!

::مطعم الأسرة مطعم الأسرة هو من احدى اقدم وأعرق المطاعم الشعبية في عمان ويمتاز هذا المطعم بجودة ونظافة الأطعمة المقدمة للزبائن حيث له زبون دائم وايضاً يعمل على نفس الكفاءة رغم مشوارهم الطويل ورغم تجدد الأجيال بإدارة هذا المطعم العريق إلا انهم تمسكوا بنفس طريقة واداء ونظافة الأطعمة المقدمة من الجيل القديم وحتى الجيل المتواجد حالياً مطعم الأسرة يقع بالغرب من عمان تحديداً بمنطقة عبدون بالقرب من السفارة الأمريكية وهو مكان جميل جداً رغم ان الدكور الموجود بالمطعم هو ديكور كلاسيكي قديم ولكنه افضل من الكثير من المطاعم ذات الديمورات الحديثة والفخمة والمطعم يستحق الخمس نجوم ويستحق التجربة إن لم تجربوها من قبل.

::It is a simple traditional middle eastern breakfast/brunch restaurant. In my opinion it is overrated because of the attitude of the staff and they don’t hear or don’t even wanna hear what you tell them. If you asked them to make you something without meat or an easy order, they just say they can’t although it is not that big of a deal. Prices are okay.

::موقعه في احد احياء عمان الراقية ولكنه محافظ على جو اصيل متواضع نسبيا لمطعم الحمص الشعبي، وجوه بيتوتي دافئ دائما. المحل نظيف نسبيا، اسعاره معتدلة (صحن حمص بلحمة + فتة + فلافل + شاي لشخصين بأقل شوي من خمس دنانير). في قسم مدخنين وقسم غير مدخنين، مشكلتي الوحيدة انه عندهم مغسلة فقط، مش حمام كامل. بحب أروح عليه لأجواؤه، بس أكله مش دايما "بشهي"، مرات زاكي ومرات عادي جدا. بس بشكل متكامل بحب اروح عليه كثير. Located of amman's classier neighborhood, this remains an down-to-earth original hummus&falafel restaurant that really does feel like "family". Clean. Prices are average, not too cheap and not touristy. There are two sections, one smoking and one non smoking. My only issue is that while there is a sink to wash your hands, there's no toilet. It's a very nice experience. The food is not always amazing, but never "bad".
