  The Church of Amos and Casiseos is one of the Byzantine era churches in Khirbat al-Mukhayyat near Mount Nebo. The ruins are quite atmospheric and some of the mosaics currently in display at Mount Nebo came from the adjacent Chapel of the Priest John. The place is undeveloped for tourism. As such there are no facilities of any kind on site. One should be mindful not to disturb anything and not to litter the place. Therefore, one's garbage should be collected and brought home.
