::These ruins are the most extensive evidence of the Ammonite occupation of the Citadel of Amman (Rabbath Ammon). Here, thick walls surround a plastered courtyard. The perimeter city wall runs to the south of it, and from there there are superb views over the Roman theatre and odeon below.
